ONTARIO – It has only been a few
months since liberal party leader Justin Trudeau won the election and
Trudeau, on the behalf of the liberal party has announced the
official date of which marijuana will be legalized in Canada; April
20th 2016.
This day of the year was chosen by the
liberal party to honor which is known as ‘National Weed Day’. It
is set to be a defining moment in Canadian history as it will also be
the opening of over two-hundred marijuana stores across Canada
including over four-hundred Marijuana vending machines.
“Nearly six-months have went by and
we have finally put together all the laws and are happy to announce
the official legalization date for Marijauna in Canada – April
20th, 2016 in honor of ‘National Weed Day.” (Trudeau, 2016) Over
one-hundred thousands Canadians have took it to social media to show
