Hundreds march through Minneapolis following shooting near 4th Precinct

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Hundreds of protesters began marching around 2 p.m. from the 4th Precinct to Minneapolis City Hall following a Monday night shooting where three suspects allegedly fired into a crowd of Black Lives Matter protesters, injuring five.
Minneapolis City Hall closed for the day around 4:30 p.m. and locked their doors, police said. The building normally closes at 6 p.m. Protesters then gathered in front of the federal courthouse.

"Green and Blue Line trains will be slightly delayed as they get back to regular schedule due to demonstration in downtown Minneapolis," Metro Transit stated around 5 p.m.  "Several bus routes in downtown Minneapolis may also be experiencing delays due to demonstration."
Shooting victim Wesley Martin, 18, joined the march on Tuesday. While walking with a cane and his leg bandaged, he insisted nothing would keep him from what he calls the fight for justice.
“I’ve been out here ever since it started... all day, every day," he told Fox 9.
Shooting near 4th Precinct
On Monday night, Minneapolis police heard multiple shots fired near 1400 Morgan Avenue North around 10:40 p.m. Several 9-1-1 calls came in reporting that protesters had been shot near the precinct. The suspects then fled the scene.
"We got to 14^th and Morgan and all you here is pop, pop, pop, pop," Martin said. "My brother got shot in the stomach. And I got shot in the leg. Hit me right through."
Three victims were brought to North Memorial in a private vehicle and two were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance. All suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
